The Surf House

The Surf House of Buggerru Surf School is the ideal starting point for experiencing the surf and sea of Sardinia.

The rooms are large and bright and the atmosphere is informal and welcoming, perfect for those who want to share days of surfing and moments of relaxation.
Guests can relax in the TV room or spend time in the garden, a quiet space to recharge after water sessions.

The house is in the center of Buggerru, a former mining village on the southwest coast of the island, nestled in a small valley that opens onto the sea. The town is located between Capo Pecora and the light-sand beaches of Portixeddu and San Nicolò, along one of the most picturesque stretches of coast of Sulcis Iglesiente.

The small port of Buggerru is dominated by the entrance to the Henry Gallery, a historic mining infrastructure once used to transport minerals extracted from the area's mines.
Today this area offers an ideal setting for experiencing the sea, playing outdoor sports and discovering natural landscapes of great charm. The Surf House is the reference for those looking for a surf camp in Buggerru and want to experience surfing in Sardinia.

During your stay, you can also purchase a dinners package from Sunday to Thursday, an opportunity to share the evening with other guests after days spent surfing and at sea.

Surf for all levels

Classes are organized in a progressive way, so that everyone can improve technique, safety and confidence in the water.

In addition to surfing, guests of Buggerru Surf School can also discover the sea and the coast by taking dinghy excursions or Stand Up Paddle (SUP) outings, a different way to explore coves, cliffs and stretches of sea that are difficult to reach from land.
From a naturalistic point of view, we are located on one of the most evocative stretches of coast in Sardinia, characterized by cliffs, small coves and open sea. Among the places not to be missed is Cala Domestica Bay, a few kilometers from Buggerru, one of the most spectacular beaches on the island's southwest coast.

Also a short distance away is Fluminimaggiore, a reference point for those interested in the history and nature of the area. Here are the Punic-Roman Temple of Antas, nestled in a valley surrounded by limestone mountains, and the Su Mannau cave, one of the most important and visited karst complexes in Sardinia.

Staying in our Surf House you can, moreover, discover the local cuisine and the flavors of Sardinian tradition after the days spent between sea and surf.
